Paula Janicki - Paula was born and raised in Erie, Pa. She started dancing at the age of 5 and has been dancing and teaching ever since! As a young dancer she performed on The O

riginal Amateur Hour hosted by Ted Mack. This show specialized in showcasing local talent. Many young stars like Frank Sinatra, Ann Margaret and Pat
Boone graced the stage as well! She has devoted over 50 plus years of her life teaching children the love of dance! To this day half of Erie can say they have taken a dance class with Miss Paula and they are now bringing 2nd and 3rd generation of dancers to the studio! Judy Janicki Rose - Owner of Paula & Judy's Dance & Acrobatics Connection, she started dancing at the age of 3. She has over 30 plus years of teaching experience. Judy was a Dance instructor at MPS High School and started the award winning T.A.P.S. Competition Team (now the PJDAC Competition Team) and Synergy Dance & Acrobatics Team! She has judged many dance competitions as well. Her students have won many scholarships for dance in High School and College. Many former students have gone on to dance in college, teach dance, perform with professional dance teams, college dance teams, Broadway and more! Renee Prue - Having danced for over 20 years she has been assisting and
teaching at PJDAC for over 25 years! She has danced in Walt Disney World, New York City and more! She is truly our right hand and has been with PJDAC from the start! Rylee Rose - Rylee has been dancing since the age of two. She has won multiple titles at dance competitions throughout New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania. She loves teaching and shares a special connection with the kids at the studio. She is well rounded in all subjects and her teaching specialties include Hip Hop, Acrobatics and Tumbling. She is currently a member of the National award winning Penn State Cheer team and member
of the Penn State Dance Team. In her spare time she is working on becoming a RN through
Penn State’s College of Nursing. Emily Range - Emily has danced at PJDAC for 15 years. When she was 13 years old she began assistant teaching and fell in love with helping younger students find their love for dance! She has been assisting at the studio for over 12 years now. Emily is currently a student at Edinboro University working towards a bachelor of science degree in Early Childhood Education. Classes:

We offer our students a chance to compete in Dance Competitions both locally and out of town. Our award winning PJDAC Competition Team is open to registered students. There is no audition to become a member.

What a wonderful and crazy weekend we had at Soar Dance Competition. We couldn't be more proud of all our dancers from our Super Petites to our oldest dancers. This was one of the toughest competitions and toughest set of judges we have ever had. We also went up against some pretty amazing studios.

Our Super Petites Won 3 Ruby awards for their dances and placed 6th, 5th and 3rd overall in a large category of dancers. We are so proud of them for most of their first competition experience! They also won outstanding costume and highest scoring Ballet Routine 8 & under.

Our Juniors won 3 ruby awards as well as a Blast Off Award for Chocolatte. They swept their category and won first, second and third overall and a special award for outstanding emotional ex*****on.

Our Tweens won 3 Ruby awards and all placed in the top ten taking 1st overall, 3rd and 5th. They also won a Blast Off award. They won outstanding costume......Ha Ha!!

Teens won 2 Diamond awards and 3 Ruby awards. They won 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th overall. They had 2 Blast Off awards. They won a special award for emotional ex*****on and won one of the highest awards given, the Out of this World award for most entertaining entry age 13 & over.

Our Acro won a special judges award "Cirque is Calling". Very fitting for our dance!

We also had 2 Junior soloists that took home Ruby awards and a special judges choice award to Ava called "Picture Perfect".

Our Tween soloists took home 1 Ruby and 4 Diamond awards. Everleigh and Makenna won 1st in their categories and Everleigh won a special award for outstanding showmanship. Overall Stella (9th), Sophie (5th), Mak (3rd) and Everleigh placed 1st overall in a category with over 24 dancers!

Our Teen soloists won 3 Rubies and 4 Diamond awards. Overall Farrah (9th), Gabby (8th), Addy (7th), Betty (5th). Betty and Addy won first in category. Gabby won a Judges choice award "Breath of Fresh Air". and Addy won for Outstanding Showmanship.

Our Senior soloists won 2 Rubies and 1 Diamond. Zoe got 5th overall, Peydon won 3rd overall and Outstanding Costume and Abby won 1st overall and Outstanding Showmanship.

Finally Miss Rylee was given the highest adjudication of Blue Diamond and First Overall.
