Due to Frontier Park being closed until further notice, the Gem City Renaissance Festival has been relocated to McClelland Park. We are grateful to the City of Erie for working with us so closely on finding a new location in the face of current conditions.

Please come join us at McClelland Park Sunday September 6th from 10 am to 4 pm and enjoy a festival filled with vendors, demonstrators, entertainers, and the magic of Livaelore!

New classes start this Saturday, beginner and intermediate are a fan favorite combo of messer and longsword!

Time for August bear pits! We have a lot of Leo/Virgos in this club! Happy birthday to Nick, Anna, Claire, Dale, and Ryan!!

Steelhead Summer Sword Social was a sensational success. A stirring soirée suitable for swashbucklers and scallywags alike.

New batch of classes have begun!

Hello! Join us on Saturday, August 1st, 2026, for our first Steelhead Summer Sword Social (S4); spar,
eat, socialize, and win HEMA raffle prizes from 10am-4pm, then relax on the beaches or trails of
beautiful Presque Isle State Park!

Help us celebrate the arts of saber, rapier, and sword & buckler in an informal competition with
self-paced sparring and raffle prizes. Participants will be given raffle tickets that they can
proceed to bet on their own engagements with other participants. Request some judges or
make your own rules!

Throughout the day, enter your hard-earned and fiercely-protected tickets
into various HEMA prize drawings.

Gear check will start at 10, sparring whenever you feel like it, we’ll have plenty of extra water all
day, break for lunch (provided) around 12:30, and we’ll begin drawing prizes around 3:30.
