Bushwhacker Fishing Charters

This past Friday’s trip with Daryl and his buddy Chuck was an absolute blast! We went 27 for 33 on lake trout and put 9 walleye in the cooler. Incredible day on the water with these two guys—lots of laughs, bent rods, and sore arms! Thanks again, fellas, for coming out with us!

Had the pleasure of taking some longtime repeat clients out that are more like family at this point. Brian and Brayden along with their two buddies absolutely crushed the lake trout bite and put a full box of walleye in the cooler!

Thank you guys for coming back again year after year. We truly appreciate all the support and always look forward to having you on the boat!

Had the pleasure of taking Jake Major, owner of Iron Decoy, out on the water! We ran an all Iron Decoy spread all day and they did exactly what they’re made to do — catch fish. Ended the day with a few walleye, a steelhead, and went 15 for 20 on lake trout. Awesome day on the lake with great company and even better fishing.

What a day on the water!
The Bradford boys came ready to go, and Lake Erie delivered. The lake trout bite was absolutely on fire 🔥

We had a true mega giant hit the deck at 28 lbs, followed by another tank at 22 lbs, and just when you thought it couldn’t get any better… an 18 lb stud joined the party.

All said and done, we put 20+ lake trout in the boat and added 7 walleye to the cooler to top it off.

Days like this are what it’s all about 💪🎣

Not much to say about today. The lake started off decent but that northeast wind stuck around and made for a cold, windy, rainy grind.

Fishing was tough for us. Ended the day with 1 walleye to the boat and missed 5 trout—just couldn’t get them to stick. One of those days where nothing really goes your way.

Wind picked up even more, so we made the call to head in early and give them another day to get right.

That’s fishing—can’t win ‘em all. We’ll be back at it 💪🎣

Had the pleasure of getting Brian out with us for the first time yesterday! The lake trout were chewing and his forearms definitely felt it 💪🎣

We finished up 16/19—can’t ask for much better than that. Unreal day on the water… even if that NE wind had other plans 😅
