There's soo much to adult hood most don't talk about. As a child/teenager we can't wait to grow up and do our own things and not have to listen to anyone. What no one tells you is all of the things you take on once you become an adult. A little more crazy when you get into parenthood.

Becoming a mom is all I ever wanted growing up. I loved babysitting I would take the kids everywhere and we would just have such a blast. So which then made me think being a mom would be just like that. Don't get me wrong I love being a mom but let's just talk about the changes that come in when stepping into parenthood.

At first being a mom was great and manageable but was it really? I was drained, stressed, over stimulated, and not sure what days were what.

I started running in autopilot. Each day was waking up take care of kids. Make sure the house was picked up, kids were dressed, fed, and bathed. Each day was another day but yet it was just the same day on repeat just about every single day. I felt like a complete zombie and that I was doing the whole mom thing completely wrong when in reality life is just not the same being a mom as it was being a babysitter.

You lose friends and family. You see who really cares. Everything changes when becoming an adult plus being a parent and these are things no one talks about which is crazy.
