We continue to support local businesses and artistry with the Hidden Creeks project! Geiger & Sons has been working diligently on the focal art piece that will be placed at Erie Insurance Arena this summer. We are excited to see the final result of this granite work...👀

Our 'bookend' signs for Headwaters Park and the Bayfront Trail are installed! If you haven't had a chance to check them out, head out this weekend to explore the Hidden Creeks🌊

The Hidden Creeks project is a partnership of community agencies and businesses, and neighbors. We have been able to acquire grant funding that is providing necessary monies for materials, time, and labor, but the heart of the project is coming from Erieites themselves. As the project continues, we'll be highlighting our partners and supporters that have given financial support, in-kind support, time, feedback, and effort to bring this impactful initiative to the region and its visitors.

One important aspect of Hidden Creeks as it moves forward is to keep the partners and incoming grant money local. We are working with local businesses, artists, and agencies to support each other, and to highlight the talent and investment right here in Erie.

The glass pieces have been tumbled and the metal works are in process. We anticipate concrete to begin being poured by the end of the month.

We are excited to see the Hidden Creek Project come to life over the summer! The project has many stages but one goal: to bring to life an importanct event in Erie history and explain how it has impacted our water supply over the decades. Understanding how we impact the world around us give us chances to make choices that will keep our area healthy for ourselves, our neighbors, and our community.
