-A little Erie PAL history-
Eries John Bizzarro got his start in the Erie PAL league in the 1950’s. He later went on to fight in Madison Square Garden and was at the top of the world rankings for several years. He fought for two World titles, the WBC and WBA against Flashe Elorde and Carlos Ortiz. He was entered in the PA Boxing Hall of fame in 2016.
