On March 22nd at 1:00 PM, we will be hosting our annual Ice Show. This event has been a cornerstone of our community for more than 50 years. Our skaters are excited to showcase the skills they have been working hard on over the course of our season. Please join us!

Who is excited to tune in to see Team USA compete in the 2026 Olympics in Milan?!

It will be an incredible opportunity to watch the very best skaters in the world. Watching elite athletes perform can be incredibly inspiring for developing skaters — it fuels imagination, motivation, and passion in a way nothing else can.

I hope you all get a chance to watch and cheer our athletes on!

We are excited to announce that our annual end‑of‑season Ice Show, “COLOR OUR WORLD,” will take place on Sunday, March 22nd.

This fun, low‑pressure event gives every skater the chance to shine and showcase the skills they’ve worked so hard to learn. All skaters currently participating in winter 2026 lessons—at every level—are welcome to participate.

This Ice Show has been a beloved Essex community tradition for 50+ years, and we’re honored to continue it. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend free of charge.

Please check your email for registration details. Registration will take place during class time January 20th–24th (one week only). Please stop by the sign‑up table to register.

I hope you all had a joyful and relaxing holiday season. I would like to share some exciting news to kick off the new year — this week marks the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in St. Louis, Missouri!

This is one of the biggest moments in American figure skating. National champions will be crowned in women’s, men’s, pairs, and ice dance, and the stakes couldn’t be higher — this event is the final qualifying stop before the selection of the U.S. Olympic Figure Skating Team for the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milano‑Cortina.

It’s an incredible opportunity to watch the very best skaters in the country. Watching elite athletes perform can be incredibly inspiring for developing skaters — it fuels imagination, motivation, and passion in a way nothing else can.

Our registration process looks a little different this season as we transition over to a partially digital system. Please make sure to follow the instructions closely.
