Residential, commercial, and/or industrial--if you have a site in Essex that needs reliable, no-nonsense snow removal services we have some limited availability for this season. If you are an operator in need of some extra hours/extra money in the winter time we may have a seat for you on our team. And just to get everyone thinking about colder and snowier times ahead here is a clip of some of last season's highlights.

We are looking for part time snow operators!
’Tis a dark and snowy night. Sheets of snow drop unendingly from the sky. The City of Essex Junction becomes a Christmas village snow globe— fat, furiously-falling flakes piling up as far as the eye can see. But then. Innocent civilians become trapped in their homes. Stores shut down early as parking lots become untenable. Roads transform into an icy slip-and-slide ending in ditches and forced parking lot situations. The fight to survive against the icy elements under the cruel grip of the villain Blizzard, struggles long into the night. Picturesque snow conditions morph into snow disasters as the snow decimates the village. Civilization crumbles under the weight of ten billion frozen particles.
Enter: The Snow Fighters
S&D Snow fighters contain the evil side of snow so that the Christmas Village Snow Globe can stay a happy, peaceful place. We fight, contain, and eradicate snow off of the roads, driveways, and parking lots. And we are looking for a few extra Snow Fighting super heroes to join our team!
Positions available:
Sidewalk Tractor Operator
Residential Tractor Operator
Loader Operator
Pay: Commensurate with experience
Schedule: Each operator will be responsible for a route which will take 4-5 hours to complete one pass. If it is a larger storm, oftentimes 2 passes in row will be necessary to keep up with the snow. Our ideal schedule is when the snow is finished by midnight, at which time routes will run from 2:30am-8:30am. Daytime storms require more flexibility. This isn’t a full-time position. When it’s snowing, it’s very “on”. But there are large chunks of days where nothing happens snow-wise and this would be very doable to combine with another job where the schedule is flexible.
Team: Here at S&D Snowblowing we seek to supply the highest level of service in all areas. We are looking for dependable, hard-working individuals that share the same passion for excellence and delivering high value for our clients. Equipment experience is preferred, but additional on the job training will occur as well. Most of our routes are located in Essex/Essex Junction. Our snow season is from November 15th-April 15th.
Let us know if you want to be part of our dynamic team. Snow Fighters unite!
