Greater Bay Area Boxing/AAA Greater Bay Area / Bay City Boxing has operated in the area for over 50 years. Founded by Arthur P. Dore and Dean Oswald.

Robert Arsenault Managed the gym 30 plus years. All were involved in local boxing over 50 years and inducted Bay County Hall of Fame. Robert Arsenault Manager and Trainer has been training boxers for more then 50 years. Recently inductee into Bay county Hall of Fame.

60 plus years of Bay City Area Boxing. Amatuer Champions of all classes and Championships.

USA Olympics, USA Boxing, local, state, national Golden Gloves, Amateur Athletic Union, Police Athletic League Boxing, Silver Glives, USA Junior Olympics.

Professional Boxers who were former World Champions, USBA Champions, ESPN Champions, and Michigan State Champions.

Formerly Home of “THE ORIGINAL TOUGHMAN CONTEST”.

Several Boxing Coaches all whom have grown, trained, and represented the gym in the Sweet Science of Boxing. All Coaches are USA Boxing Registeted, Trained and certified, to include US Safe Sport Certification.

Boxing Ggm open Monday - Friday, 5:30 - 8:00 pm.

Open Thursday, May 28, 2026, normal workouts.

Friday May 29, 2026, gym opens at 4:30 pm. Working out with other gyms from Greater Bay City - home of “Bay City Boxing” and “The Original Toughman Contest”. Others include Saginaw Boxing, Flint Town, Al’s Boxing - Marquette, Eville Boxing Essexville, possibly someTeam USA Boxers.

Saturday. May 30, 2026, gym Opens at 3:00 pm. Same workout and sparring with out of town teams and boxers as Friday May 29th. .

Please bring your own equipment and water dispenser. We have filtered water.
