It was an honor to run the skating portion of the Type 1 Timer camp at Hertz this summer. These kids go though so much sometimes just to get through the day but then add in competitive hockey careers, unbelievable. My hat is off to them everyday. It was also awesome to coach alongside Brad Ralph of the Florida Everblades, Dan Muse of the Pittsburgh Penguins and the rest of the top tier coaching staff. It was truly a fantastic weekend of hockey training.

After over 5 years, I’m saying goodbye to Bolt Power Skating!

I’m still coaching full time but I won’t be conducting my own clinics under this name anymore. Bolt has been a blast the past 5 years and I learned a lot about business but it’s definitely time for a new chapter. I’m stoked for the future! Only good things ahead!

In more important news though, the Florida Everblades are in game 4 tonight against the Wheeling Nailers with a 3-0 series lead! I can’t say enough about the talent on this team. They got this! Let’s Go Blades!🐊🔷

Season 3 with the Junior Everblades came to a close a bit ago but I still wanted to post about what a joy it was to work with these players this past season! The talent growing up right now is real. Proud of all of them.

The adaptive skate night at Hertz Arena this week made me miss my Richmond Retrievers. Truly one of the most impactful things I did while I was in Virginia. I am always thankful to the people and places that make opportunities like this possible!
