🥳 Great news! More park improvements are coming to Stanley Park this fall!🍁
🚗Next week, the main parking lots at Stanley Park will be temporarily closed starting on Thursday, the 17th for Phase 1 of the paving project. Work is expected to last 4 to 6 weeks and we expect the lots to reopen by late October, weather permitting.
🫵 What you need to know:
🚙Alternative Parking: Visitors can park at the asphalt lot due east of the tennis courts, north of Manford Ave. The lots at Cherokee Draw are also an option, with park access available through the Highway 36 Underpass.
🌳Park Access: The park itself will remain open. Patrons can access the shelters, ballfields, pickleball/tennis courts, skate park, restrooms, dog park and playgrounds via the Fish Creek Trail, adjacent sidewalks and the Lake Estes Trail (through the Highway 36 Underpass).
⛑️Safety: Please stay clear of work crews, cones, barricaded areas, stakes and other construction-zone elements during the closure and be wary of heavy machinery throughout the duration of the project.
