What do y'all think? I say do it!
When we built Willow Oak, we knew we were getting into the outdoor lifestyle space, and we wanted weddings and corporate events to be part of our seasonal business. What we didn’t realize was just how quickly that side of Willow Oak would grow.
As we look at what comes next, Kim and I have a little disagreement. 😂
I think a resort-style pool and outdoor gathering area would be a great addition. Kim isn’t quite as convinced.
Obviously, adding something like this is a significant investment. We understand the cost side of the equation. What we really want to know is whether this is something our customers would enjoy and use.
For those of you who have stayed at Willow Oak, attended a wedding or corporate event here, or considered booking with us—what do you think?
Would a beautiful pool and outdoor lounging area add to your experience? Would your family use it during a wedding weekend? Would you enjoy it during a corporate retreat or summer stay? Would it make you want to stay another night?
We can run numbers all day, but sometimes the best thing you can do is simply ask your customers.
