I checked my trail camera in my bear hunting area today. I was surprised to see my lock box pulled open, exposing my camera. After reviewing the footage, it appears a bear pulled it open. I had thought the python cable lock went through the main box along with the door like my other cameras, but I was wrong. (This is a new camera) I posted the reel on my other YouTube channel, here’s the link. 🐻

Dad and I were going to attempt some Odell Mackinaw fishing yesterday, but when I stepped out of my truck at Sunset Cove, there was a wind I hadn’t experienced up there. After some discussions with a few other guys at the boat ramp, I decided to call it. I’m sure I could have fished, but it wouldn’t have been ideal while trying to learn a new species. Plus, I only have the small manual downriggers. So… I’m currently shopping for some better ones. 🎣
