It was such a fun movie night at the Art House! Tonight was the premier showing for Kung Fu Theater Eugene, a newly launched bi-monthly film series featuring martial arts classics Art House ! Big thank you to Kung Fu Theater Eugene for putting a great evening together and for the presentation and talk beforehand about the movie. We can't wait for the next one in November! Special thank you to EAST-WEST KUNG FU for opening up the premiere night with a cool lion dance performance!

Heart bursting (and some tears!) 😍💥❤️- BIG congratulations to Dana H. and Nara H. on passing their black belt tests with flying colors this past weekend! They tested together over the course of two days and achieved and overcame each challenge before them with grit, heart and incredible skill demonstrating the culmination of soooo many years of hard work! They have always been very dedicated but putting their training, knowledge, classes, and practice into overdrive this past year+ before heading off to college has been incredible to witness. Loss of free time and very likely some sleep - setting and achieving this goal is nothing short of inspiring. 💪We have been blessed to have a front row seat to their journey of dedication and hard work, challenges and triumphs since they were 9 or 10 yrs old! 💥❤️Watching them grow from little girls to the unstoppable young women and martial artists they are today has been a true joy and honor. And I know this was extra special for them because they got to achieve it together. 🩷They have also been such wonderful, kind, and caring kung fu instructors at RMA for so many years. So watching them test right before they leave for college is emotional and bittersweet - Dana and Nara, you are going to be missed so much by us, all of the kids, and your fellow students - but we can't wait to see you conquer your next chapter and your RMA family will be cheering you on each step of the way! Congratulations! !

A very heartfelt Happy 80th Birthday to our Grandmaster Eric Lee! You are a true martial arts legend and a deeply loved and respected teacher and friend. A true teacher leaves a part of themselves with every pupil they guide. You have shaped the hearts of your students through your joy, love, humor and wisdom you so generously share - in both martial arts and in life. You are an incredible inspiration to us.
May you continue to fullfill your lifelong legacy and be blessed with continued vibrant health, longevity, joy and peace as you celebrate this big milestone! Happy birthday Sifu we love you!!

Advanced Kung Fu Kids class working on their Shaolin staff "flowers." They do a great job focusing on their Kung fu weapon details... and their distance management is always appreciated! 😄

Join us every Monday and Wednesday at 5:35 p.m for Krav Maga & Street Defense. Have fun with some great people and learn something new or brush up on your skills! Beginners highly encouraged!
