Is rink closed through December? Can Rink give a statement about status? Thanks
Hey all. I have used hockey gear to donate. Sticks, Left, and right-handed, helmets, gloves, skates, badges, etc. All in good to great condition. My goal is to get it out of my garage in the next couple of days. IM me if you would like to come get it. Maxwell and NW express are the cross streets.
I saw this in the news, I used to play on this rink.

Is there open skate this Saturday? August 12th? Online the calender doesn't show anything.

Thanks to all the volunteers that came to assist us with painting today. Who would have thought we would ever paint twice in one year? Now putting final layers of ice on. Ahead of schedule and rink will now open before April 15th! Stay tuned for scheduling updates!

So we're looking for volunteers to help us with this. In the middle of getting the rink ready and this happened. We've jammed the Zam between the exit doors. Really slowing us down.

[10/10/20]   Wanted to thank everyone for being safe while skating with us.

Last week, we had a couple who had been in a Phase 1 area. During our normal screening questions, they took the time to check their calendars and honestly said, yeah we were in a Phase 1 area ten days ago. We denied them entry to Public Skate and they thanked us for being safe. No angry response. No negative body language. In fact they used a ride-share service to get to rink, so in a way it cost them money to be honest.

We thanked them for being honest and helping us keep our skating community risk to a minimum. Thought we’d share. It just made our day to meet people like that.

Welcome to the Rink Exchange

Families are back the Rink for Public Skating sessions. Limited spots and in an effort to keep people safe, we have extra safety measures in place. Social distancing measures are in effect. Admittedly inconvenient so please be patient with us. Hope to see you soon.

[08/30/20]   As many of you know we opened our doors on August 13th to a private very limited and restricted group of patrons. In our attempt to best protect our community we only allowed patrons from Oregon Phase 2 areas to enter our building and participate.

Last week, we started our first “public” event opening Hockey Stick Time to Patrons who meet our screening criteria at the door.

Today we learned that at least one set of people entered our facility by providing false information at the door (screening questions) to enter a Hockey Stick Time.

Because of this, we have decided to, effective immediately, cancel all Hockey Stick Times indefinitely. This will restrict rink use back to private groups who we can reliably ascertain their COVID exposure and status.

It will also likely delay our attempts to expand the types of users we will allow to enter our facility.

We apologize for the inconvenience. We were hoping that we could open some activities to the public while relying on our users to act in the best interest of our skating community.

Private Groups will remain unaffected at this time.

08/11/2020

Quietly waiting as the rest of the staff prepares the rest of the building for a limited and safe opening for our community.

Good Evening Everyone,

As you may have heard the Governor released an updated executive order this afternoon. This order limits the number of people in gatherings to below 25.

This effectively closes the Rink Exchange for the remainder of the season. We are very disappointed and will be taking the ice out starting tomorrow.

We understand these are difficult times for all of us and The Rink Exchange Staff would like to personally thank everyone for a fun season. We cannot adequately express how much our staff appreciates our Rink Exchange family and we are looking forward to season 2020-2021.

Thank you. We’ll see you next season.

[03/17/20]   The Rink Exchange staff would like to inform you, we will be cancelling all public skates, drop-ins and stick-times due to COVID-19 until further notice.

02/29/2020

On Saturday we have two public skate sessions, the first session will be from 12:15-1:45pm and the second session will be 8:15-11:30pm. You won’t want to miss it!

02/28/2020

If you were wondering when our public skate sessions are today, we have two! The first public will be from 3-5:30pm and the second session will be 8:15-10:30pm! We would love to see you there!
