Roger of Bent Spoke Outeach heads out on my trike for Christmas outreach. The weather is expected to get messy and frozen over the coming week, so using a cargo trike will make it easier for Bent Spoke to get stuff out to those in need during this time...

Thinking about gifts today; and reflecting that I've been fortunate to ride with Bent Spoke Outreach this year, serving those who most need it along Eugene's vast network of bikepaths.
It's been an amazing way to see the positive impacts of Bent Spoke Outreach. For me it's been a way to reconcile hope, finding ways to connect with other human beings. There's nothing that compares to meeting people and talking with them face to face, to see their challenges, hear their stories, and get the real situation, unfiltered.
