Women who love to fly fish! The Damsel Flies are all-women fly-fishing group sponsored by the Caddis Fly Shop. We meet at 6 pm.

on the first Thursday of each month at the Caddis Fly, 168 W 6th Ave, in Eugene - or elsewhere as noted in the monthly Damsel Fly newsletter. Dues are $20 (for the calendar year Jan-Dec) and due by January 31st. A Liability Release form must be completed with your membership form, which can be picked up at the Caddis Fly.

This month the Damsel Flys will hold their annual picnic at a private home. Stay tuned for information on our Thursday, October 2nd meeting.

The next meeting of the Damsel Flies will be held at 6 pm. on Thursday, May 1st, at Alton Baker Park in Eugene. We will be learning new casting techniques and working on improving overall casting skills.

Damsel Flies on our annual memorial float honoring Darlene Kline Dolby. Caught a few hatchery fellas for the fish fry and were tormented by Cooper, the bald eagle, who kept dive bombing us to steal our catch (he was successful twice!). Beautiful day on the McKenzie River!
