My health & fitness journey is beginning again with the same activity that started me down this path 13 years ago. I have a special place in my heart for Aerial Yoga. This was a bit different setup than I’m accustomed to, and I was surprised by how much I could still do! Today was my first class in over six years! I feel like something has been healed within me. 🧡

It’s fresh fruit season!! 🍍🍉 I spent about an hour cutting up 3 melons & a pineapple yesterday. Worth it.

Last nights dinner: baked potato with tomatoes and a poached egg 😋 Sautéed halved grape tomatoes and garlic with olive oil spray. Topped with fresh chopped basil, a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese, salt & pepper. Only 7 points on WW Blue plan.

Today’s the day! I’ve officially lost 20 lbs since starting WW on March 1st! I can move easier, my clothes fit better and I’m even able to fit into some stuff that I couldn’t squeeze into a month ago. Weight Watchers helps me to be mindful of what and how much I’m eating and I can still have my favorite foods and drinks in moderation. I’m now starting to incorporate more movement into my routine and can’t wait to see the changes in myself in the months to come!

Just tried my first bungee fit class and it was so much FUN!!! What a great workout! Can’t wait for the next one 💪😊

New year, same you, better choices! Happy new year everyone! It’s been a wild ride, and as much as no one wants to hear it, the world has not suddenly changed at the stroke of midnight 😄 While you can’t change the world, you can change your habits a little at a time. One of my worst habits is getting up and, instead of stretching my tight, sore, sleepy body, I sit around and scroll through social media posts to “wake up” 🙄 I know this is not helping me, but I make the excuse that I’m too tired and sore to do anything else. I know that if I just do even 10 minutes of stretching that it will wake up my mind and body faster and I will feel better. So that is the first small change I plan to make. What is one realistic change you can make for yourself to better your life?

WW friendly breakfast scramble 😋 Only 3 points on the Blue plan! 3 eggs scrambled with salt, pepper, and onion powder. 1 1/2 pieces of no sugar uncured hardwood smoked bacon torn in pieces. A couple tbsp of chopped onion & red bell peppers sautéed with extra virgin olive oil cooking spray. Topped with 1/8 cup of reduced fat shredded Mexican cheese blend & sriracha.
