5/9/26 EBC @ Siltcoos

10 boats and bags of fish came into the scales! Fish in all 3 phases of spawn going.

1st place Jeremy McKay getting it done with 21.90 #. He also cracked the 6 # pot as well!! He had quite the pay day of $790!! Excellent job JM!

2nd place Mike Strickler with 5 for 19.67 #, always a threat ! Congratulations! $180!

3rd place Chris Parks & Jamin VanMeter with a limit for 19.33 #

C. Cooper put 2nd BF on the board yesterday with a 5.26 #

Congrats to the whole group on a great spring day !

Next one will be up the hill @ Crane Prairie in June! Club looking forward to mixing it up!

The meeting will at be 530am tomorrow for the Siltcoos event!

EBC visited Tenmile lakes on a crisp Saturday morning over the weekend!

Fish were caught well through the day! Those 3 # plus fish were sneaky but available!

Winning team of Chris Parks & Eric Wilson had a 5 fish limit for 18.77 # for 1st place!

2nd place & Big Fish was brought to the scales by Conner Hanson with a very solid 18.42 # for 5! His BF was a 5.19 #. Conner been on a roll!

3rd place went to Chris Poague and Ryland Stone with 17.68 #. Great work guys

All 10 boats caught a limit when is great to see!!

Next event is Siltcoos May 9th!!

The 2nd event of the year for EBC is this Saturday April 25th at Tenmile Lakes. The morning meeting will be approximately 6am. Blast off at safe light. Please contact Steven Stavros if you plan on fishing.

EBC got 2026 started yesterday at Lookout Point!

The fish are showing some growth from years prior, it was a great event and the results are the best yet!

1st place - Clint Messner & Clint Messner Jr. with 5 for 14.73 #!! They also had big fish for 4.43 # congrats 🏆

2nd place - Conner Hanson with 14.32 # he had 2nd BF with a stud 3.73 smallie. Great work !

3rd place - Steve Cechinni & BJ Cross with an awesome bag of smallies for 14.08 #. Excellent job!

The first EBC event of the year will be this Saturday March 28th at Lookout Point.

The Saturday morning meeting will approximately 630am, blast off at safe light.

Membership is $40 per person for the year. All in entry is $80 per team. The 6 # pot is also renewed for 2026 season @ $10 per person.

Make sure you have a banner, 300k insurance, life jackets, 2026 fishing license, whistle or horn and fire extinguisher. See you there!

The Season Opener is just 9 day away at Lookout Point! Its coming quickly! March 28th!

A few reminders as we get close here to the 2026 season, please read the following and be ready to fish! :)

Prefish cutoff will be Monday, March 23rd at sundown.

Checklist to have ready:

BANNER must be visible and in place on the motor, if you do not have a banner please buy some yellow tape and write “tournament” on it
Banners should be available for purchase at limit out marine and Nixon marine
Current boat tags
Current fishing license
300k insurance coverage
Fish need to be released 1 mile from public ramp
Fire extinguisher
Throwable
Life jackets - must be worn when the big motor is on, idling included here as well
Whistle/Horn

Membership $40 a yr
Entry is $40 plus there is an option pot of $40!
$80 is all in
6 # pot must also be renewed $10

Lake has been filing nicely and it should be a very fishy first event!
