📣BIG NEWS! Heat Hockey Announces 10UA2 & 12UA2
Teams in Mansfield for the 2026–2027 Season
Texas Heat Hockey is excited to announce the addition of 10U A2 and 12U A2
teams based out of the Mansfield StarCenter for the 2026–2027 season.
These teams are designed to strengthen the Texas hockey development pathway by
providing families with an affordable, local, and competitive travel hockey option.
Both teams will compete in the Texas Hockey League (THL), the premier competitive
league in Texas, offering a structured regular-season schedule that aligns with other
travel hockey programs across the state.
This expansion brings tremendous value to the Mansfield community by giving local
players the opportunity to participate in travel hockey while remaining close to home.
"Our primary goal with these teams is to continue growing the foundation of youth
hockey and build on the outstanding work the Dallas Stars have done in developing
hockey in Mansfield,
" said Hockey Director Steve Jeffers.
"The A2 level provides
motivated players with a competitive environment while giving them access to many
of the same resources and development opportunities found throughout travel
hockey.
"
By adding these teams, Texas Heat remains committed to supporting local families,
developing players, and helping grow the game in the DFW community.

In the first round of the NA3 draft the Texas Roadrunners take Texas Heat's CHRISTIAN ROBINSON! Christian was the 27th pick of the draft! He is also the FIRST Texas Heat player to be selected through the NA3 draft. Congratulations Christian! We can't wait to see you Bring The Heat to the NA3!
That makes 6️⃣ players from the 25-26 18AA Heat team to advance to juniors and college. 🎉
