Texas Wolverines take out Prosper Crush with help from Queen, 6-1

Justin Queen went 1-2 as Texas Wolverines took home a 6-1 victory over Prosper Crush in six innings at Frontier Park on Friday.

He singled in the third inning.
Ethan Goodman looked sharp on the mound. Goodman held Prosper Crush hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five.

Texas Wolverines never surrendered the lead after the first inning, scoring two runs on two ground outs.

Texas Wolverines piled on two more runs in the top of the third. Queen singled, plating Nathan Hensley to start the inning. That was followed up by Hayden Foster's single, scoring Queen.

Prosper Crush scored its only run of the game on an error in the fourth inning.

Texas Wolverines scored one run in the fifth inning, and then followed it up with one more in the sixth. In the fifth, Texas Wolverines scored on a groundout by Hensley, plating Bennett Mecom.
