Ok, everyone can see the radar & hourly forecast 😢 and it doesn't look good for business so with that let me break down a little insight on how we as Track operators assess these situations. I will also include some radar/hourly pics below.
1st & most importantly It takes spectators in the gate to pay the bills or as we say butts in the seat.
Even if the track itself doesn't receive much rain there will be no spectators if it's raining all around us, plus its Halloween (parents out with their kids) again butts in the seat is what pays the bills. Forecast shows we get hit around 12:20pm and again 3-4pm with the heaviest % (and no sun to help dry it before dark) - if we race & it rains then we are expected to dry, prep, then finish the race, along with longer operating hours so, more cost on top of the opening cost - Definitely would be in the Red - not a smart financial decision. The one day of the week we need & it rains 😭

Update will be at 10am with the newest radar update - stay tuned

We want to Race really Bad & as of now we are still Racing tomorrow and we will make a final decision after looking at the hourly forecast at 9am. Stay tuned here 🤞🙏
