For event and fireworks safety, the Riverside Park trail and playground will close beginning at 12 PM today. Please plan accordingly and use caution around event areas.

The wait is over! Evans Heritage Day is TODAY, Saturday, September 19! ❤️🎈

🏃 5K | 8:30 AM | RIVERSIDE PARK
Presented by Balanced Movement

🥞 FREE PANCAKE BREAKFAST | 8:30–10 AM | CITY PARK
Start your morning with a FREE pancake breakfast and live music from Patrick Hesse! Breakfast is available while supplies last.

🎉 HERITAGE DAY PARADE | 10 AM
Grab your chairs and find a spot along the parade route! Come cheer on local businesses, organizations, community groups, and more as they make their way through Evans.

🎪 CITY PARK | 10 AM–2 PM
Stick around after the parade for food trucks, a vendor fair, and FREE family amusements! There’s plenty of fun for the whole family.

🌳 RIVERSIDE PARK | 5–8:30 PM
The celebration continues in the evening with food trucks, FREE family amusements, and the Beer & Spirits Garden featuring 477 Distilling, Crabtree Brewing Company, TightKnit Brewing, and Yetters Brewing Company.

👑 PRINCESS PERFORMANCE | 5:30–6 PM
Our special princess guests will take the stage for a magical performance!

✨ PRINCESS MEET & GREET | 6–6:30 PM
After the performance, little ones can meet the princesses and snap a photo!

🎸 DUEY & UNBROKEN | 7–8:30 PM

Then keep the fun going at Riverside Park!

It's about trying something new.
It's about learning to work with others.
And most importantly...it's about having FUN! 🎭

Evans Recreation's Theater Club gives ages 7–13 the opportunity to explore performing, improv, audition basics, and more through fun drama games and exercises.

Calling all Kindergarten–2nd graders! Registration is OPEN for Evans Recreation’s K-2nd Grade Basketball program! 🎉

This is a great way for young athletes to learn the game, build confidence, make friends, and most importantly—HAVE FUN! 🙌

🏀 $60 per player
📅 Registration open through September 27
⛹️ Practices begin the week of October 19
🎮 First game: October 31
🏆 Saturday games in Eaton
