In 2007, Jody Grooms joined Lakeside as Head Coach. This Past season the laskeside football team won a region title for just the 2nd time in school history.
in 3 seasons Former Coach Jody Grooms turned around a program and left to take the head coaching job at Wayne County High School. The transition should be a smooth one for Troxler, who spent the past 3 seasons as assistant head coach and offensive coordinator under Grooms. The Panthers are coming off the best season in school history and to continue to improve moving from 3-AAAA to a subdivided

Throwback to one of the most memorable nights in Lakeside history. The Panthers dominated Evans 17-0 on a night when the Virginia Tech band entertained thousands of fans there to honor Lakeside graduate Ryan Clark, a Tech band member who lost his life during the tragic campus shootings in 2007.
