I joke in all my classes telling new members, โ€œIโ€™m about to change your life!โ€ Iโ€™m only slightly teasing. I truly believe that I can help anyone fall in love with fitness and therefore change their life. But every so often I have a member (or two, or three), who truly changes mine.
Meet I wonโ€™t tell his story, but this picture tells a great deal. Uriel decided in Oct 2020 to commit to a program and see if my claim was indeed true. While Iโ€™d like to take all the credit, I most certainly cannot. Instead I want to shout out all things CrossFit today and give credit where itโ€™s due.

3) Great programming -
But mostly . . .
4) The Community - fitness is a people business. If itโ€™s fun, engaging, encouraging, challenging AND a little silly, people will never quit.
I love my people. Iโ€™m proud to be a coach. Itโ€™s without-a-doubt the thing Iโ€™m meant to do. Thanks to all of you who show up (consistently or sporadically). Iโ€™m here for it.

Modify the movements and reduce the load so you can complete each set unbroken, at least in the early rounds. Newer athletes should reduce the total volume and avoid the GHD.
