E313 is for sale. I am wanting to sell the boat, trailer and motor as a ready to run hydro including the air system with 3 tanks, radio system, helmet, life jacket(XL) and drivers suit(XL) as a package deal. 4 props are included and they are 12x20, 12.5x20, 12x21 and 12x23.

The boat was assembled in 2012 and is a Jones wood center section with Henderson type 3 cockpit and Henderson sponsons, bottom is wood and decks are carbon. I was told it was built by Bert Henderson and Jamie Auld. It is 18ft long and 10.5ft wide. The tunnel width is 68 inches. Cockpit comes with a new 6 point safety belt, front canard is electrical actuated by switch on steering wheel.

Motor: 2004 5.3ls. Block was cleaned, line bored and honed, cylinders were just honed ( still STD size ). Cylinder heads were cleaned, milled flat, 3 angle valve job and 560 lift springs added. It has a forged GM crankshaft. forged Summit Racing Pro Ls rods, pistons and rings all balanced by machine shop. Rockers and pushrods are stock, lifters are Elgin ls7 lifters. All bearings are Clevite 77's. Comp cam per rule book, stock truck intake and throttle body with 42lb Bosch injectors. Timing set is a Summit Pro Ls that is .005 shorter due to the line boring. Headers are Schoenfeld dyno headers with extensions welded on for O2 sensors. Aces Jackpot 2 ECM with digital dash/hand held tuner.

Trailer: Not sure who built it but I had 2 extra tilt supports added to make it more stable while driving with boat on tilt. 4 large truck bed boxes for extra storage and I installed the floor with hold downs for storage use. I kept everything I needed for racing either in the boxes or strapped to the floor with having to load and unload my truck bed.

I also have a SBC 350 that is bored 40 over and 85% of the parts needed to put it together if you don't want the LS motor.

Price: Ready to Race with the LS motor is $16,000 Firm.
With all SBC parts, boat and trailer is $13,500 Firm
Just boat and trailer no motors is $10,000 Firm

Not going to part anything out until boat/trailer are sold.
Tool Box is NOT included.

Decatur update. Well first heat on Saturday we had a radio problem and I couldn't hear my radio man so we didn't go. Went out for the final and I had a panic attack while driving and I slowed the boat and ran the outside for a finish. We got back on the trailer and found water and oil mix in the engine bay so we called it quits for the weekend. The 2 problems are minor and require the motor to be pulled to fix. Now for the rest, My wife came very close to going to the hospital with a heat stroke. Her medical condition is to the point that she will not be able to join us for racing so I am now making the announcement that Benedict Hydroplane Racing Team is officially throwing in the towel and no longer racing. Everything will be going up for sale soon. I will be posting a sales add soon with descriptions of everything I have. Boat, Motor, Trailer and support equipment will be sold. I'll get pictures this weekend and post it all. We had a great time and made some great new friends. Thank you all for the great memories. Buddy Benedict

Been a while since we have posted anything about the boat, so here's an update. It is all together and it just needs a bath then we are ready for Decatur. I did some tuning today and hopefully I didn't mess anything up. This fuel injection is a different animal.
