As a brand new team formed late in 2025, I don’t think anyone knew what to expect… but I can promise you—THIS wasn’t it 😏🔥

Just a group of boys, some incredible coaches, and a whole lot of love for the game. We walked into our very first tournament as the underdogs—
zero rating, zero points… nothing but fresh uniforms, gear bags, and something to prove.

And then… 💥
SURPRISE!!! The Leathernecks 10U have arrived—and we’re here for ALL the fun.

But let me tell you—it’s not just about the boys (even though they’re pretty amazing 😉). These parents? These fans??
They SHOW UP and SHOW OUT every single time. The energy, the support, the love… unmatched.

This weekend was no exception.

Honestly, sitting here typing this, I’m a little overwhelmed—in the best way. Watching these boys come together, push each other, and WIN together… it’s something special. The camaraderie at this age? You can’t teach that. It’s just… there. And it’s powerful.

(Which apparently is our thing now… rain = good luck? We’ll take it 🤣☔)

These boys battled HARD and went a perfect 5-0 on the weekend 💪
And oh yeah… we brought home our THIRD RING!!! 💍💍💍

Like… WHAT?!?!

And it doesn’t stop there…

🔥 Leathernecks 10U – AA 🔥

First-year team.
Three tournaments in.
Already bumped up to Double A.

Let that sink in.

This doesn’t happen without the dedication behind the scenes—the coaches putting in countless hours, talking strategy, building these boys up, and pouring everything into this team.

To the players, the coaches, the families…
This is something special. And we’re just getting started.

How about these ‘Necks?!? The forecast called for a washout. We got a little bit of that!!! No one really likes the early game… but it’s true, the early bird gets the worm… or in the leathernecks case, a RING!!!!!! Tied our first game before the rain came in. 6-0 win by forfeit (it was still really coming down). 17-1 win and then the championship game 10-2!!! These boys played in the cold rain! It was a wet day for sure but NOTHING can take the joy away from winning yet another championship title! Way to go Leathernecks! A special shout out to the amazing coaches! You all have undoubtedly changed these 10 year old boys lives and don’t even realize it. We are so thankful for all of you!!!! Happy Easter to all of our family, friends, sponsors, coaches and other teams we have had the pleasure of meeting and sharing these memories watching our kids play a game they love!!!!

This weekend, we participated in the Icebreaker Challenge in Owensboro! We had some tough competition but not near as tough as your very own Leathernecks 10U team!!! We went 4-1 on the weekend, playing our hearts out. We are tired and we are wind burnt, but we are also CHAMPIONS!! Thank you to all of our amazing parents, fans, coaches and especially the players who battled through cold and wind to bring home a CHAMPIONSHIP!!! Way to go Necks! We are so proud of you all!

We are only one week away from the Slugfest 2025 game at historic Bosse Field, Evansville IN. The entry fee is only $5.00 a person. This is an absolute steal. Speaking of steal, if USI 3rd baseman legend, Sam Shanine hits a homerun, please don’t steal the ball from a kid. With his 1 college career homerun, we don’t expect this to be an issue. Thanks in advance.
