Happy 6th birthday Hugo!!! Mommy and Daddy love you, you big ole goofy boy!!!

We are going to a jury trial. The gloves are off now.

Next court date is Friday y'all!!!!!

The 22nd is the next hearing date on prosecuting the owners of the barn that abused the boys!! Interested to see what comes from it!!!!!

Justice is coming! The Warrick County Prosecuting attorney wants to bring criminal animal neglect charges on the "people" who mistreated me and my brothers Tapifyn and Dibbs. Our hooves are still in such bad shape and we are still not out of the woods, even six months after going to our beautiful new home at Heron Lake. Amanda and Grizz Oller, Dr. Bartlett and Cody Chandler are taking such good care of us. We are getting the life we deserve, and soon we will have the justice we deserve. Mom and Dad have promised not to back down. They say they will see this through no matter how long it takes.

The Captain got his shots and a vet check today. He is on the thin side of healthy and no problems! He got a pedicure too, and his feet are now sound! This summer he will be going to get retrained as a pleasure horse, he will be gone a month but will still be close enough to visit. Then his shipmate Tapifyn gets his training too!!!!!

Went to go visit the Boyz a few days ago and the Captain is in fine spirits! He looks amazing thanks to the loving care of Amanda N Grizz, and the rain rot is gone, just waiting for those bald patches to fill in!!!! I think in another month or so he may be strong enough to start working on his retraining. I am so blessed! Pictures to come at next visit.

So it looks like we found a couple of options for keeping the Captain! Will know for sure in the next couple of days.....so hold on for a possible big announcement!!!!
