It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Cindy Brooks aka Miss Embowel. She was one of the original members of the Evansville roller derby community. Our condolences go out to the friends, family, and former teammates of this beloved skater.

This fundraiser started several years ago when Cindy began her battle with breast cancer. Most of the money raised was used to pay for treatments long ago. Stickers, buttons, and koozies for benefit of Miss Embowel’s final expenses are also available for purchase at AbyssCo.

Congratulations to these two on their graduation this weekend!
Sunny graduated with their Bachelor's of Social Work.
Daisy graduated with her Bachelor's of Science in nursing.
They've both worked immensely long, hard hours, all while being integral parts of the team.
