Little britches put on a show in his Jr. Honda today. Broke a left front tie rod in his heat race and we didn’t have an extra (gonna have to order more parts 🙃) so he was a DNF. Don’t worry though he made sure to make up for it in the A-main. Battled off the line from 4th to 1st backed out of it and dropped to 2nd. Chilled in 2nd for a few laps. Wound it up and passed for first. Was the leader with only a handful of laps left and SPUN IT!

We all thought he was done….but ol Gasin’ Gabe didn’t think so! Slingshot engaged!!!!! Little fart drove the wheels off that thing and put her in FIRST PLACE and took those CHECKERS!!! 🏁

Hammer Down Hussmann was not going to let little BRO have all the fun. He was a rocket in his Sr. Honda today winning both the heat race and feature. Quite the battle and dog fight to the end but he pulled it off and got his VICTORY LAP!!! 🏁

Overall great race day for the HUSSBROS…I mean how else would we celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary…right?! 😉

We have some WHEEL MEN up in here!

The HUSSBROS were on it this weekend at the Midwest Lightning .25 Midget Series regional at Tri-City Jr Speedway.

They put all 4 cars in the A mains and put ALL 4 CARS ON THE PODIUM!!!

They battled from the tail to the front in all of their classes. They both were on a mission and on the hunt for the podium.

Gasin’ Gabe finished 2nd in Jr. Honda and Jr. Animal!!!!!!!

Hammer Down Job Hussmann was on one today! He battled hard in his Sr. Honda. Lead almost the whole dang thing by half a turn until a dang caution came out and he got squirrely on the re-start and dropped to 3rd where he finished.

However…💪🏻 (fist pump) 💪🏻 (fist pump) 💪🏻 (fist pump)….we have ourselves a Sr. Animal Regional A-main WINNER!!!! Job started 8th and was running in 3rd when his left front spindle bolt broke and he came into the pits which caused him to be put to the tail. BRO engaged that sling shot and zoomed back up to 4th. Then the leaders collected and he completed his battle from last up to the front and finished FIRST!!!!

We are so proud of these boys! They were prime examples of never giving up.

The mental toughness of all of these kids out there racing astonishes us. We love to see the fierceness of the competition, the grit and resilience, and the sportsmanship. Great job everyone!

Lady Luck was for sure on our side today. Now we clean up and prepare for the next one…
