More unfortunate news from PSA.

If you've dropped cards off in the last week or so, I will be sending out text messages to come and pick them back up. According to the website, a minimum of 4 months before they start to take in value submissions again. Anything above value can still be sent in.

From someone who had their cards "temporarily on hold" during covid, it's not looking promising for the ones that are currently at PSA. They had my order for 2.5 years last time this happened.

CGC is still an option, and I belive more will go that route now. PSA has ruined SGC, killing turnaround times there now as well, so they are not a great option.

We tried guys. We ran out of time and energy.

We are going to have to remain closed tomorrow, Tuesday, May 26th.

We are so close to being done, but it is an absolute disaster right now. What is done looks amazing!! We just don't feel right opening back up until it is finished. Our apologies.

As a reminder to everyone we are CLOSED Memorial Day to finish up the remodel. Thank you all for your patience thus far. It has been one hell of an undertaking.

There is still so much to do tomorrow, I know we are stressed about getting it done. If anyone is bored and wants to help out, we'll be there at 10 to start 🤣

Update on the shop:

The construction portion is complete, wall is removed and it looks awesome. One of the new slat walls is up, with the other going up tomorrow.

The rest of the shop on the other hand, is in super disarray. We are working on getting everything handled and finished up on Monday. With that said, we are going to CLOSE on Monday. Makes sense to do it that day, as it is the least amount of hours that we are open during the week, as well as it being a holiday.

We will be back to normal on Tuesday with a brand new looking shop!!

To verify, we are open this weekend, just very messy. Closed Monday, back open Tuesday.

Okay, after a few delays, construction is finally starting tomorrow afternoon. We will remain open throughout the few days this will take, they will be hanging a curtain up to keep the dust to a minimum. Please excuse the mess and noise during this time. We have to move a lot of stuff around to get this done, so we will be in disarray over the next week or so.

4 of us are heading to Wisconsin for a funeral for the next couple of days, so the shop will be super short staffed. Due to this (as well as having to pay for the construction, and quite frankly we have spent way too much this week) we will not be buying anything this weekend. Trades are fine, but there will not be enough people here to go through 4 totes and 16 binders. If you've got a few cards you wanna trade in, please feel free.

The front entrance will not be usable. Please park in the back and use that door.

Once everything is done with the wall coming out, we will be hanging more slat wall, as well as moving the shop around, so we will be closed for a day (not sure which day yet, look out for updates).

If you haven't been in for a week or 2, the shop is going to look so much different the next time you are in!! We are so excited for these changes and can not wait for it to all be over with.
