What a way to wrap up the season! 🥍🔥

Tonight we finished the year with our annual Boys vs. Girls showdown featuring the North Junior High Boys State Champions taking on the North Junior High Girls City Champions. Bragging rights were on the line, the energy was loud, and the laughs were nonstop.

After an awesome battle filled with big plays, friendly trash talk, and a whole lot of fun, the GIRLS came away with the win! 👏🏆

A special shout out to Brooklynn Sallee and Mallory Shekell, a couple of our North girls alumni, who volunteered their time to come ref our game for us. We appreciate you both so much! 💚

So proud of all these athletes and everything they accomplished this season. Championships are great, but nights like this are what make memories that stick around long after the final whistle. 🐾🥍

Reminder-quick parent and player Q&A session at the end of practice this evening. 7:45 pm

Whether you’re splitting the weekend between errands, looking for something fun to do, or perfecting your couch-lounging skills… consider upgrading your plans and booking a table for Trivia Night!

Great food and a night full of laughs are included. Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar. This is a 21+ event.

It’s our biggest fundraiser of the year and hands down the most fun lacrosse parents can have… with the only competition being game day itself.

Practice tonight at Oak Hill again from 6-8. Some parents have asked and all practices are always open for parents to stay and watch. We are always here to answer questions as well.

On Monday, we will have a parent meeting at the end of practice @7:45. I will go over the info sheet that was sent home Tuesday. If you did not get a sheet, ask your player as they were all given one. I will have extras for those that were unable to attend.

Dear Weather Deity, Sun Spirit, Groundhog, or Whoever’s Finger Is on the Thermostat,

It is us again. The North Junior High Lacrosse coaches. Knees bent. Whistles silent. Sticks leaning sadly in corners.

We humbly ask for the clouds to scoot along, the snow to take a vacation, and the roads to remember they are supposed to be roads. We promise we are not asking for perfection. Just something that does not require snow boots, ice cleats, or a survival plan.

Winter break has already gifted parents unlimited quality time with their children. We know they are counting the minutes until schedules, routines, and outside activities return. And another bonus week might push even the strongest households to the brink of indoor tag-related chaos.

As coaches, we are eager. Desperately eager. We want to see our returning players, meet our new ones, and remember what daylight looks like after 5 PM. We want whistles blowing, sticks clacking, and kids asking, “What time is it?” like it is a sacred chant.

So please, oh Keeper of Forecasts, grant us fields that are playable, roads that are passable, and temperatures that do not bite. Let us begin practice now, while our enthusiasm is high, our voices are cheerful, and our patience is still fully charged.

Because we know, deep in our coaching souls, that by the end of the season our prayers may sound slightly different.

Good morning everyone! I know we are all excited about the start of Lacrosse season, but with schools being closed, we will not risk having practice.

Should schools be open tomorrow, we will have practice tomorrow evening, however we will keep you posted as soon as we have more info. Enjoy your snow day.
