This week marks the beginning of our 2026–2027 calendar year, and we’re excited to start another great year of training together!

With many of our students getting ready to head back to school—or already back in the classroom—it’s also a great time to grab a copy of our new studio calendar from the front desk when you come in for class. ❤️ UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN, MS. HARRIS! 🥋

Last June, our Everett Family received a very special gift when Ms. Harris joined our dojang. Now, it’s time for her to step away for a little while as she begins her Yong-In 🐉TKD college journey.

I first met Ms. Harris through the USTA Instructor Program. Although she was training at another USTA school at the time, one thing always stood out to me — her genuine love for Taekwondo.

For someone so young, she carried an incredible amount of passion and dedication. I watched her work hard toward her goals in Taekwondo, always looking for ways to learn, improve, and challenge herself.

After graduating from high school, she chose to spend the time before college here with us at USTA Everett — learning, training, and pushing herself through a very hot summer. 🔥🥋

Our time together may have been short, but we shared a lot of sweat, hard work, and meaningful moments in the dojang. I truly hope that something from the time we spent together will stay with her and help her as she begins this next chapter of her life.

Ms. Harris, stay healthy, stay safe, and keep working toward your dreams. And when we meet again, I hope both you and our Everett dojang will have grown even stronger. ❤️

You worked hard, Ms. Harris. We are proud of you, and your entire Everett Family is cheering you on!

#📱 **A SMALL UPDATE FOR OUR EVERETT FAMILY!**

Hello, Everett Family! ❤️

Over the past few months, our team has been preparing a new **kiosk system** as part of an update to the way we manage our dojang.

Starting today, we’ll begin testing the new system with our **Black Belt and Adult students** first! 🥋

Our goal is to make things easier and more organized for everyone — no more searching for attendance cards, a more accurate way to track attendance, and a better system for our team to understand what each student may need along their Taekwondo journey.

Since this is still in the testing stage, we may run into a few little bumps along the way. 😄 That’s why we’re starting with a smaller group before eventually expanding the system.

Thank you to our Black Belt and Adult students for helping us test everything out, and thank you to our entire Everett Family for always growing with us. ❤️

Step by step, we’ll continue working to make USTA Everett a better, more organized, and more supportive place for all of our students and families.

For our children’s classes, we’ll be focusing on Home Rule #5: Keep your body, hair, and teeth clean every day!

With the back-to-school season here, we want to help our students build strong habits both inside and outside the Dojang. This session, we’ll be especially focusing on three simple but important habits:

🪥 Brush your teeth
🧼 Wash your hands
🚿 Take a shower

These may seem like small things, but learning to take care of ourselves is an important part of building responsibility, discipline, and confidence. 💪

Let’s keep practicing these healthy habits together at home and in the Dojang!
