🌟 Exciting news! 🌟 One of our amazing former students has just signed back up for class, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to have her back in the program! 🙌 It’s a great reminder that no matter how long you’ve been away, you can always come back to training and pick up right where you left off. Why doesn’t “everything in moderation” always work? ❌⬇️
BECAUSE YOUR BODY IS WAY MORE COMPLEX THAN THAT!
Things that play a role in food habits:
☑️ hormones
☑️ emotions
☑️ thermic effect of food
☑️ exercise
☑️ food behaviors/addictions/struggles
☑️ seasons of life
☑️ job situation
☑️ sense of belonging
☑️ stress/sleep
☑️ medications
☑️ current state of health
☑️ and more…
NOT HELPFUL:
🚫 Telling someone who has been struggling with weight for years that it’s as simple as “moderation”.
🚫 Telling someone with insulin resistance or estrogen dominance they just need “moderation”
🚫 Telling someone with crippling diabetes, it’s just about “moderation”
💥 Everything in moderation does nothing address everything, and it’s subject to a lot of interpretation. People’s definition of moderation varies immensely.
💥 It’s setting people up to FAIL.
✴️ If you’re having a hard time losing weight, let’s talk. You can’t outwork a bad diet. Low carb is a lifestyle - and there are many tools and resources available to help you through this journey ✴️
