The Ride Is Over...
I fought this off as long as I could, but after 12 years, 5 months and 30 days, CrossFit Everett will be closing its doors. Financial hardships, building being sold/new landlord and myself taking an out of state job has led me to this decision. The memories, friends and life lessons gained within those four walls is something I will always be thankful for. Thank you to everyone who supported, helped and lived the gym life with me along the way, your contributions are priceless. You guys helped a young man with a passion for CrossFit, trip, stumble and fall his way through owning a business. My number one goal when I started was to have a positive impact on whomever walked through those doors and help them better themselves and their lives. I wanted to give back what I had gained from CrossFit. As I sit here and reflect on years past, I know I achieved that goal and it's a small reassurance in this emotional time. So again, thank you for the support, love and friendship along the way. Jesse

After looking at all sport and physical tasks collectively, we asked what physical skills and adaptations would most universally lend themse

After much thought and consideration about what transpired over the weekend in our CrossFit community regarding Greg Glassman, I wanted to touch base with all of you and let you know where I stand on the issue. I do not support the current values or direction of CrossFit HQ and Greg Glassman.
At CrossFit Everett, we have always been inclusive and supportive of everyone. Regardless of race, color, religion, sexual preference, country or creed. Our diversity is what makes and builds our community within these walls and around the world. So for that reason we have always taken pride in providing an atmosphere where all feel welcome, supported and loved. A place where people from all walks of life can come together and accomplish common goals, to exercise, be healthier and improve their fitness.
So moving forward, none of those things will change. We will still do the same workouts, have the same community, same passion for self improvement and continue to be positive influences in each other's lives.
I will be taking the next few days to determine our actions moving forward with the CrossFit brand in the future. In the meantime, we are focusing on getting the gym reopened and you guys back in here as soon as possible. Please reach out to me personally if you have any questions, concerns or just want to start a positive dialogue about the situation. I want to hear from you all, this is OUR gym. Thank you , Jesse
