I tried to make a new life at the assisited Living facility. It seems there was too much going on and more than I could really handle so much activity when I'm aged and trying to slow down. Maybe I'm not meant to be with so many people at once.
I'm now at a new ranch with a couple who rescue dogs and have a few acres for me to run a bit.
I'm going to try.
Thank you to Silverado Assisted Living for the opportunity to brighten a few hearts.

It is with Pride that Dolly retired 26 March 2012. Having served my human well for eight years, and with life catching up to me, it's time to settle down to a nice T-Bone steak!
If life were so simple. I'm off to Silverado Assisted Living to offer comfort to the residents and blaze a new trail in the facility's health care program. I'll be the first dog in the facility and there's a hope that more dogs will come along. The Dog-human bond is a positive, happy relationship. I've changed one life (or many--thank you friends) and now I have the opportunity to change many more.

Melanoma, it is not. Just a mass of nothing!

Eye doc discovered melanoma on my eyelid.
Surgery was scheduled for Jan 19, 2012 but we cancelled due to bad weather.
I'll have it removed on Groundhog Day (lucky pests) and biopsied them.
