What once lay forgotten, buried in slumber and snow, now yet stirs, awakened.

As the memory of Winter thaws away, The Hollow revels in the coming season. But mysteries that once lay buried remain -- Ruins lost to Winter's snows, failures forgotten in past storms, and unfinished battles postponed until greenery returns. Here lie the ruins to explore, no longer blanketed beneath snow. They lay not destroyed, not vanquished, not despoiled, simply forgotten. Simply postponed.

Summer's authority moves swiftly now. Not to mend. Not to right. It seeks to erase that which it cannot undo.

Come reclaim the spoils once claimed by the icy hand of Winter; buried under dark and snow. Decide what deserves to leave the ruins, what belongs to The Hollow.

Have you ever wanted to live out the fantasy of a heroic adventurer? Of course you do, you're an Amtgarder! Join me on Sunday October 26 at 9am for the Adventurer's Hike.

I will be leading a group along the five-mile North Creek Trail before and after the regular Hollow park day. We will leave North Creek Park in Bothell at 9am to arrive at McCollum Park at 11am. We will then leave McCollum Park at 4pm to hike back to our cars at North Creek Park by sunset at 6pm.

The route goes across a boardwalk, through downtown Mill Creek, and along a paved forest path. Carts are possible to carry your equipment, but I would recommend carrying everything in a backpack.

I will be providing adventurer rations consisting of jerky, dried fruit, hardtack, and nuts to everyone who participates.

If you're worried about your ability to hike 5 miles within 2 hours, you can tap out at any time to take the Swift Green bus, which has multiple stops along the route for $2.50.

The rain and overcast has returned to Washington. The Hollowfolk have returned to the north from Fall Classic...
But there is never enough Amtgard! As such, we have an eventful week coming to us!

This Friday (9/13), we have Fighter Practice at The Hollow!

This Sunday (9/15), we have Winter Coronation! And as her last decree, our Duchess, MacNcheesePlz has called for a POT LUCK as part of our court. Bring your tastiest foods to share, wear your fanciest clothes for court, and be ready to cheer as we celebrate our amazing parkmates.

Then on Tuesday (9/17), we will be starting the new reign with a trip to Zulu's Board Game Cafe at 6pm! Join us for food, games, and shenanigans under our new Duke!

And to start the new reign, our Guild Master of Reeves and Chancellor will be hosting a Scholar's Challenge, starting later this week. So keep an eye out if you enjoy scrolls and potions!

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! Our in-coming Champion Kulos Rubus is wanting to announce he'll be starting this reign strong with a 7 and Under Tournament on October 6th, featuring Single-Short, Florentine, Sword-and-Board, and Open categories! More details to come!

This Sunday (9/1) at 1pm, we will be having the last Quest Day of Spring 2024!
Players will have a chance to fight through the story of survival, as well as all will be welcome to participate in the endless carnage through the day.

My friends, what have we done?! We have left The Hollow unmanned and unattended... and now the calm and silence of the summer has been broken. Our new Duchess has moved upon The Hollow, with her hordes of UNDEAD!

This Sunday, The Hollow will be overrun by zombies!!

Join The Hollow on Sunday as our Quest Day gives you 7 Minutes to Die in the Woods!
Band together as a party of 4 as you escape the woods; gather your resources to better your odds of survival! What's the worst that could happen? A nibble on your femur? A few missing fingers? Or maybe you'll start feeling hungry for flesh too!?

The Hollow's officers are proud to announce we have taken a big step forward to encourage more interaction, socialization, and comradery within our land (without drowning the Amtgard Northern Lights in our messages).

We will still be using the Northern Lights discord and the page. But we want new players, veteran players, and all those in-between to have a familiar space to talk, gather, and interact. All are welcome.

The Hollow has grown silent and sleepy after your last excursion. Previously these woods teemed with monsters (centaurs, goblins, and trolls oh my!). But now, your victories in the surrounding forests have pushed all monsters from the nearby landscape.
Now all is safe within The Hollow; so come join us for celebrations in Town this Sunday. Bring your bows, your blades, and your gear for training and for competition as we salute you! Show off your loot that you found in the woods. And maybe you too can join in on the contests to be held amongst the townsfolk.

This Sunday, May 26th, will be the third part of The Hollow's ongoing quest line! We will start at 12pm, and go throughout the day. Battle games and roleplay adventures will be ongoing while teams participate one-by-one through the story of the quest.

As well, we are still looking for support from 2 more reeves if anyone would like to join!

By the voice of the populace, our new pro-tem Guildmaster of Reeves has been appointed. Standing in for The Hollow's GMR, until June 9th, will be Baron Hated Holydragon!
Hated is not someone to be caught laying down on the battlefield.
With numerous YEARS of experience in Amtgard and at The Hollow, and as a prestigious Walker in the Middle, he stands as a tested and venerated player and Reeve.

So please join me in applauding Hated for stepping up to be our Guild Master of Reeves for the remainder of this midreign!
