Primary goal is to teach students the love of water and how to relax in the presence of a caregiver. We have a lot of fun in these classes! Swim diapers must be worn by children not fully potty trained. A $5 charge will result by coming to class without and FHSS must supply one

Intermediate-small group: 4 Lessons, 30 minutes each $85/child
Small group - 4 kids max
Ages 4+

Back float independently and turn to stomach
Students should be comfortable swimming unassisted for 5 yards
Jump in the water with clothes on

Taught in shallow and deep end as class skills progress

Advanced: 4 Lessons, 30 minutes each $85/child
6 kids max

Students should be comfortable swimming unassisted w/ face in water for 10 yards
Intro to diving

Tread water in deep end
Focus on improved stroke/breathing skills
Taught in shallow and deep end

Semi-Private: 4 lessons, 20 minutes $125/child
2 kids - responsible for supplying partner - preferably similar in skill level

Cancellation Policy:
The schedule for group and private lessons is provided to individuals before they register and pay for classes. These policies are displayed/accepted before payment during online registration. Please read and understand the policies before paying. Cancellation/Changes:
Cancellations or changes must be received no later than 5 days before the session begins; School credits will be issued and can be applied to future lessons less a $25 cancellation fee. No credits will be given after that time or once the session begins. Changes after registration may result in a $25 change fee. Exceptions to the cancellation policy for medical emergencies is at the discretion of Floyd Hill Swim School. No other refunds will be issued. Missed Classes:
If an individual is unable to make one of the scheduled dates, there will not be a make-up opportunity and there will be no pro-rated credits/refund for any classes missed during the session. Late policy:
Instructors will not stay after a scheduled lesson to make up time caused by tardiness. The same policy applies to group lessons. Private lessons are cancelled if the client does not show up within the first 10 minutes of the scheduled time. Swimmers arriving after the first 15 minutes of a group lesson will not be allowed to participate in that class. Please be aware of typical I-70 backup on weekends, and plan appropriately. Instructor Absence:
Due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, a teacher replacement will be sought with lesson experience. If this option does not exist, a partial refund will be distributed per swimmer. In the event of inclement weather* Floyd Hill Swim School makes a decision by 8:00 a.m. during periods of such inclement weather and communicates any cancelled class via email and facebook. A partial refund will be distributed per swimmer.
*Inclement weather: It is the policy of Floyd Hill Swim School to remain open during most periods of regular weather for the foothills; however, where extraordinary circumstances warrant, due to weather or other unforeseen business interruption, the company reserves the right to close the facility. Covid Cancellation Policy:
Floyd Hill Swim School reserves the right to cancel future or the balance of current session classes if a Covid surge takes place. In this case, a refund will be issued for the balance of classes not taken. For more information, please contact [email protected]
