We finally got a little bit of snow! The horses enjoyed running around in it yesterday. Of course, the second I tried to take a pic of them playing they were more interested in me than in each other.

Three of the Sloan Stables Evergreen riders enjoyed a ride into neighboring Three Sisters Park today, and ventured all the way to the abandoned Alderfer Cabin! They had a great ride-- great company, great horses, great scenery, and amazing Colorado summer weather!

We offer English riding lessons for children and adults. For experienced adult riders we also offer opportunities for independent riding. Owner/instructor Vivion has 20 years of experience teaching hunt seat and balanced seat riding and can help you learn the skills you need to become an effective rider!

Riding can occur in our arena, pasture, paddock, or on the adjacent trails in Three Sisters Park.

Lesson pricing:
Lessons for ages 3-5 are 30-40 min, $40 for 1 student.

Lessons for ages 6-11 are 60 min, $55 for 1 student.

Lessons for adults and children ages 12 and up: 60 min, $60.

Can accommodate 2 students in one lesson, 2nd student is discounted by 5%.

Lessons can also be bought as 4-pack packages for $10 off the total.

Other riding opportunities:
Adults who have previous experience riding can come for a trial ride to see if our horses are a good fit for you to do a partial lease (or individual one-off rides) here. Adults often choose to have a few lessons first, then gain the confidence to come ride independently. Others go straight into an independent ride agreement.

Our adult riders also often meet up to ride together either in the arena, pasture, or on the trails in Three Sisters Park.
