It was wet, it was muddy, it was in a way borderline miserable, and somehow it keeps us coming back! Crappy weather is what it is but it helps you somehow appreciate it even more, especially the little things like watching a dog work with the few birds we did shoot that morning. Shout out to for capturing these memories!

Finally tricked the little buggers after some hard hunts, always feels good to get these little peeps touchin toes in the spread!

And that’s a wrap! One last evening shoot on the last day, with another band to take a dirt nap! What a crazy way to kick the year off! Ready to see what else is in store for us!

You know it’s a good one when you don’t even realize you shot a band until you grab birds to make a pile!

The switch flipped on and it was complete chaos, a solid half hour of not being able to keep the guns loaded fast enough is one of those hunts that’ll always be remembered! Felt good to get a little redemption from last years early season and can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has in store!
