🚲 Back To School Season Has Arrived 🚲

Alarms are back. Backpacks are back. So are we.

Nothing beats watching kids roll up to school on two wheels on their favorite bike. Beat the long car drop-off line, skip the gas, get some fresh air before first period.

Come see us at South Lake Cycle for your back-to-school tuneup. We'll get your kid's bike tuned up, brakes tight, tires pumped, chain happy, and ready to actually survive a school year of curb jumps and bike rack chaos.

New bike, hand-me-down bike, "found it in the garage covered in cobwebs" bike, we love them all.

Tag us in your first-day-of-school bike pics or tell us about your favorite childhood bike below! ⤵

P.S. Guess what year the photo was taken on the first day of school?

This bike shop is special because of the community of amazing customers, employees, community members and surrounding businesses who we love to see each and every day.

If we haven't met you yet, swing by soon. We want to chat, hear about your rides, your bike, even your dog.

That's kind of the whole point of South Lake Cycle and our awesome community. Real conversations, real fixes, people who care how your summer's going.

If you've been riding solo and want to meet more people who love this as much as you do, come say hi. Tell us what you're riding this summer. If you're looking for suggestions we can help with those too.

🚲❤️ Tag a riding buddy who needs a bike shop like this. Our space is also cold if you need to cool off while you're riding in the 85 degree sun (not that we're complaining).

Is your bike making an odd sound? Don't wait until it's too late. Call South Lake Cycle and we can find out before the sweater weather season begins.

08/13/2026

That little click when you pedal? It's trying to tell you something.

The click click click.
The grind when you shift.
The squeak that showed up out of nowhere last week.

Small sounds are small problems. Ignored sounds turn into expensive ones.

We understand that life's busy. But your bike's talking to you before it starts yelling.

If something sounds off, give us a call. You can then bring in your bike and we'll take a listen and give it to you straight, quick fix or bigger deal.

No upsells, just what's actually going on.

🔊 Save this for the next time your bike starts making that noise. See you soon before the leaves start to change!

Some bikes that come through our door are pumped to whatever tire pressure "felt right," not what's actually right for the rider's weight and the tires they're running.

Too high and the ride gets harsh, you lose grip, and you flat more on rough roads. Too low and you're pedaling through mud basically, plus flats happen way easier.

Stop by South Lake Cyle and we'll check it out to make sure you have a smooth ride ready tires.
