The Minnetonka Area Just for Kix is a youth dance program that offers dance classes to all students We work on creating good habits with the younger dancers.

The Minnetonka Area Just For Kix program is for students ages 3 through 12th grade. Just for Kix is a wonderul program to help prepare dancers for the skill and technique that is needed for high school dance teams. AT JUST FOR KIX, KIDS SHINE

If your child's toes can't stop tapping...then Just For Kix is just the program for you. Our dance classes are the perfect way to introduce your child to the world of dance without having the high costs like other dance studios. We pride ourselves on providing a low stress, no pressure environment where young dancers can have fun while gaining relationships that will last a lifetime. TECHNIQUE and BASICS:

Basic placement and technique are a major focus. Coaches will provide the skill and technique to prepare dancers who are looking to try out for a High School Dance Team. Instruction is very hands on and focused. FLEXIBILITY and STRENGTH is focused on too! They are 2 key factors in becoming a great dancer; challenging dancers to advance and progress to their top potential. CHOREOGRAPHY:

Our choreography is what built our business. It is creative and innovative. Choreography teaches kick technique as well as basic dance technique in a team environment that is very visual to our audiences. Our classes are fast paced and fun. We have great music and great instructors. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

-Dancers will perform multiple times per season at large-scale events.
-Our older classes compete in a “low pressure” environment (2nd through 12th grade).
-Our dancers wear one costume for each class for the year. Our costumes are tasteful and focus on age appropriate styles.
-Just For Kix prides itself on being organized. We get it done! Class time is maximized so every minute is utilized. Our goal is to have each and every class start on time and end on time. Please Contact Kelsey Vercruysse at [email protected] for more information!

Our Minnetonka JFK family continues to grow, and with that growth comes some exciting changes!

Many of you already know and love Coach Sydney! She has been such an important part of Minnetonka JFK, and I’m so excited to share that she is stepping into an even bigger role with us this season! You’ll find Coach Syd teaching classes every night of the week while also helping with behind the scenes work to help keep everything running smoothly. With 650 enrollments this season - nearly 100 more than last season - we are SO excited to have Sydney stepping into this expanded role!

Sydney has a degree in Early Childhood Education and brings so much patience, experience, energy, and love for kids to JFK. We are incredibly lucky to have her and even luckier that she is able to take on this expanded role!

We are so excited to welcome Halle Wheatley to the Minnetonka Just For Kix staff! 💙

Halle grew up dancing right here in the area and spent four years on both the Competition and Performance Dance Teams at Minnetonka High School. After graduating, she continued sharing her love of dance through coaching with MDT, and she’s now heading into her 10th year of coaching!

We are thrilled to have Halle joining our JFK family this year. She is passionate about sharing the joy of dance with younger dancers and helping them grow in confidence and skills.

Taking a moment to spotlight these middle schoolers!

Throughout the entire audition process last week, these girls supported and encouraged each other every step of the way. They cheered SO loud and brought so much positive energy to the room. Their support for one another was so genuine!

So proud of the way they showed up for each other. This is what it’s all about! We are so lucky to have you all on our team 💙
