It’s a gift. To be able to connect with people during times of struggle and times of joy. There is beauty to be found in it all, and God never wastes a connection or a season of life.

A few days ago, I had the honor of spending time with Anna Fell and her family to celebrate Dory’s life and the impact she has made on theirs.

Dory is half Golden Retriever and half a mix of other breeds, surprisingly, with no Lab in her. She is beautiful, gentle, and loving. Anna and David rescued Dory from Main Line Animal Rescue in March 2024. She was already an older girl, somewhere between 11 and 15 years old. They quickly “fell in love with her sweet demeanor and zest for life.” After finding her new home, Dory had a few cancerous lumps and bumps removed. Earlier this summer, another mass appeared and was diagnosed as an aggressive, late-stage cancer. Since July, her health has been declining.

Yet, Dory is still Dory.

She still loves her walks, baking in the sunshine with her belly up, receiving love and giving so much of it in return.

Anna shared with me - “She taught me how to be patient with life and enjoy every minute, or at least try to.”

They may have only had Dory for a short chapter of her life, but it feels as though they’ve known her forever. She has walked beside them through so many celebrations, changes and ordinary moments.

Sometimes it’s not about how long we have with loved ones, but how our hearts change in that time we have we them.

Please keep sweet Dory and her family in your thoughts and prayers as they cherish the time they have together. 🤍

Beautiful morning at Valley Forge Park for a very special pet story session. It’s such an honor to be invited into this part of someone’s story, especially when a beloved pet may be nearing their transition home.

Grateful to help capture the love, connection, and little moments this family can hold onto for years to come. 🐾

Choose the golden ones. Let God show you who.

Over the past few days, I’ve been reflecting on the people God has placed in my life to collaborate with. Collaboration is powerful, but who you collaborate with matters. I’m continuing to learn how to choose people with shared values, authenticity, integrity, and heart. I’ll call these people, the golden ones.

They are the people who walk alongside you, celebrate you, and genuinely care about what they are creating with you. They don’t compete with you, take advantage of your gifts, or make everything about themselves. They make room for your voice, honor their word, communicate honestly, and want to see you succeed just as much as they want success for themselves.

Be intentional with who you let in your personal + professional circle. It matters and you get to choose that. Pray for discernment + let God show you who those people are.

You are sacred. Your heart is sacred. Your mind is sacred. Your time is sacred. Your space is sacred. What you create is sacred.

Yesterday’s shoot was filled with inspiration, creativity, and collaboration with the one and only Theresa Brewer of TC House of Style.

We had the most beautiful setting to bring a series of distinct looks to life, including an effortlessly timeless, Ralph Lauren–inspired style. Theresa brought the incredible garments, accessories and together, we created some magic.

Tomorrow, she has a pop up sale at Muse Artisan Boutique in Chester Springs from 12-5. She has the best collection of pieces around, guaranteed.
