Here’s the awesome wedding dance of Lina .lu and Yudi .____, specially created for them by ! 💍💃🕺

During their first consultation, we discussed different song options, and with our guidance, they ultimately chose the beautiful “Fall Into Me” by . From there, we designed a dance that represented them as a couple and worked systematically to teach them the steps, build their confidence, and polish the routine.

The result speaks for itself—they nailed their first dance and had a blast both learning and performing it! Their guests were amazed and certainly didn’t expect such a polished performance. Some of the bridesmaids couldn’t even hold back their tears. 🥹❤️

All of us at Dance A Lot wish Lina and Yudi many happy years together—and may they continue to “fall into” each other every single day. ❤️

Here are the beautiful photos of Lina Lina and Yudi Yudi’s wedding dance, choreographed by Dance A Lot Ballroom Studio - Fair Lawn, NJ! 💍💃🕺

They tied the knot this April, and together we worked to find the perfect song for them and create a dance that fit their vision, abilities, budget, and personalities.

The final result? A successful performance, surprised family and friends, and even some crying bridesmaids. 😁❤️

"My fiance (now husband!!) found out about Dance A Lot through an expo, signed up on the interest form and got to work with Georgi to choreograph our first dance for our wedding!

The reason we chose Dance A Lot came down to Georgi’s personality from our very first in-person consultation. He took the time to listen to several songs we were considering and gave us his honest, genuine advice on the slower versus more upbeat options. It was honestly so cool to witness how his mind works!

He created a personal mix of our song, cheered us on throughout every practice, and struck the perfect balance between giving us the freedom to choose the dance moves we wanted while also being realistic about what we could accomplish in the time we had.

We had so much fun learning, practicing, and performing our first dance. We’re so grateful for all of Georgi’s guidance, encouragement, and creativity in making our first dance so special."

Thanks to all our students who joined us for our 9th Annual Potluck Barbecue this past Sunday, 8/30/26! ☀️🍔

It was a beautiful day, and we couldn’t have asked for better weather. There was tons of delicious food (and the sweets—oh, the sweets! 🥧🧁🍰), and everyone approved of Georgi’s burgers! 🍔😃

It was great to see our dance veterans as well as some new faces enjoying this gourmet event together.

This annual barbecue was born as a way to say thank you to our wonderful students—a chance to get together, mingle, share a meal, and say goodbye to summer before the busyness of the new dance year begins. 💃🕺

Thank you to everyone who came and brought something delicious to share. Until next summer! ☀️

Congratulations once again to our two couples from Dance A Lot Ballroom Studio - Fair Lawn, NJ who competed in the Open Amateur Rhythm Championship at Empire Open Dance Festival 2026! 🏆🎉

Anthony Kanev and his partner Isabella won the Championship, while Xavier and Melannie earned second place. Both couples danced beautifully, and we’re incredibly proud of them. Keep up the great work, guys—and keep dancing a lot! 💃🕺

The Team Match at Empire Open Dance Festival this year was electrifying! Out of five state teams plus Team Canada, Team New Jersey earned 2nd Place. 🥈

Sebastian and Katherina were selected to represent New Jersey in the J1 Division, and they did a fantastic job! Here are their five dances: Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, and Jive.

Congratulations to all the competitors and to Team New Jersey’s captain, Ilana! 👏🇺🇸

🏆 BIG NEWS from Empire Open Dance Festival! 🏆

Dance A Lot Ballroom Studio has been named a TOP STUDIO!!

I’m so proud of my husband Georgi Kanev for earning TOP TEACHER and his student Linda Heisler for taking TOP SILVER LEVEL STUDENT award!!

Our son Anthony Kanev and Isabella won the Amateur Rhythm Open Championship!!

And our instructors Melannie and Xavier took 2nd place in the same division.

Our daughter Katherina Kanev and her partner Sebastian we selected to be part of the Team Match, representing New Jersey in the Latin Junior division and New Jersey placed 2nd!! ✨

And last but not least, congratulations to Anthony Kanev and his new Latin dance partner Nino for their first competition together - way to go guys! 🎉
