🌟Class Highlight🌟
 Contemporary 1 meets once a week and is designed for students ages 10+ or NSB Level B1+ with zero to some dance experience. Contemporary Dance utilizes the basics of classical ballet technique and vocabulary (alignment, rotation, extension, control) but adds elements of other dance forms (weighted movement, parallel positions, spinal flexion) to investigate moving through space in a grounded and expansive manner. Students perform center and across the floor work, and are introduced to principles of improvisation. 

Contemporary 1 meets Fridays from 6:00-7:00 August 17-December 19.

🌟Class Highlight🌟
A1 Ballet marks the beginning of our 8 year classical ballet curriculum developed by Artistic Director Emeritus, Norman Shelburne. A1 Ballet is for children ages 8 and older and meets twice a week. It is the perfect class for students who have progressed through our Creative Dance program, as well as those older students who are ready to study ballet more seriously. A1 Ballet is a year-long (2 semesters) curriculum. Students learn and refine their ballet technique and vocabulary at the barre, in the center, and across the floor. After a year in A1 Ballet students will progress to A2 Ballet.

A1 Ballet meets Tuesdays & Thursdays 4:30-5:30. Tuition for A1 Ballet is $795, sibling discounts and scholarship available!
