We are so happy that we could support UAF's mission to make our game day experience even better with the new scoreboard.

Last night, the Face Off Club presented UAF Athletics and Alaska Hockey with a $20,000 gift in support of a NEW scoreboard at the Carlson Center!

This coincided with the announcement of ConocoPhillips Alaska’s gift and the release of the scoreboard crowdfunding site as we make aim to complete the campaign this year. You can be part of the final push by making a donation today at AlaskaNanooks.com!

Thank you to Face Off Club for all your support and getting us another step closer to the next era of hockey!

Congratulations Jordan!!

Jordan Hendry set a strong standard at the blue-line for the Nanooks in the early-to-mid 2000's. The former captain posted 36 points in 112 games for the Nanooks, including a career-high 14 points in 2005-06! He went on to skate in 131 NHL games, and lifted the Stanley Cup with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2010. Now, he's becoming a member of the Nanook Hall of Fame!

Colton Parayko is widely regarded as one of the best blue-line players to wear an Alaska Nanooks uniform! The current St. Louis Blues defenseman posted 66 points in three seasons with the Nanooks and has gone on to win a Stanley Cup, and a silver medal at last year's Winter Olympic Games! Now, he's entering the Nanook Hall of Fame and you're invited to to next week's luncheon celebration!
