2022 Results!

Great event this year! The weather started off a little wet but by the end of the first stage the rain was gone. There was a lot of great shooting by all.

In the end;

High Overall - Zach McLaughlin
High Duty/LEO - Sydney Pace
High Team - Team FAS (Zach McLaughlin and Pete White)
High APOA Team - Team Probation!

And once again the 1st Responder bragging rights go to the firefighters Fire Team B for their 2nd place team finish over Team Probation.

Reminder to all! Our annual Concealed Carry/APOA match is Saturday the 16th. Registration at 9 am and Mandatory Safety Briefing at 10 am, shooting starts as soon as done! Cost for any legally armed civilian is $25. Match is free for APOA Members! Registration available online at www.Practiscore.com

You can register online and pay either online or at the match!

What do you need?
A concealable handgun and holster and a couple of magazines! Bring at least 100 rounds of ammo and you will take some home if you don’t miss a lot!

There will some Carbine and Shotgun Shooting involved. Ammo and guns will be provided.

Handgun must be concealed at the start of the stage. Test is not visible turning in a circle with your hands straight out!

Divisions are; Full Size, Compact Carry Optics and Duty gear. APOA members must compete with Duty gear to be eligible for the APOA Awards. No Race Gear is allowed! Starting magazine must be standard capacity for the gun used.

Fairbanks Alaska Shooters will be shooting the stages again for a USPSA match on Sunday at 12 noon, if you register for the APOA Sundays USPSA Match is Free!

Registration is open for the July 16th 2022 FAS/APOA Concealed Carry/Duty Carry Match!

We will be having a CCW/APOA Match again this year! Date has been set for July 16th at The Fox Range. This years event will be Sponsored by APOA, Fairbanks Alaska Shooters, The Fox Range, and 49th Cartridge Company. Online registration will be out soon for non-APOA members. APOA member will be able to register at the event and APOA will cover their entry fee.

We are planning on 5-6 stages of practical fun shooting. We will be including some shotgun and carbine. All equipment and supplies will be provided by the match for those portions of the event.

What a great event we had yesterday! The weather was awesome, the food was delicious, the company was top notch, and the shooting was a blast! Thanks to all of you who came out! Congratulations to Bill Filiaga for winning the Top Individual Shoot Award, Jason Parish and Zach McLaughlin won the top Team, and special congratulations to The team of Sydney Pace and Brett Wood who won the Top LEO/APOA Team along with the traveling Trophy plus a bunch of bragging rights.
