Jade will be guiding you through a lovely Yin practice this evening at 5:30pm.
Expect deep hip openers and other shapes that create space in muscles that work with and for the lower back area.
Most of us have lower back discomfort from time to time, and sometimes it becomes chronic. These shapes can alleviate discomfort associated with tight glutes and lower back muscles. Support yourself with pillows or a bolster if you’d like. Stay for a few minutes if it feels good! I normally stay in Pigeon for 5 mins, Childs Pose for 6 mins, and Figure Four for 3-4 mins on each side. General contraindications are knee or SI joint discomfort, pain or injury.
