↓ Register for Season 55 ↓ Norma’s Academy of Dance was established in 1972 by the late Norma B. Mitchell as a one-stop shop for culture featuring lessons in dance, drama, singing, piano, modeling and baton twirling. Through the years, some of the programs were discontinued, but the emphasis on dance remained. Now, the Academy offers several classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Pointe, Modern, Hip-Hop and more.

Nervous? They feel it too. But that’s not stopping them from showing up, and it shouldn’t stop you either.

Help us create a welcoming, organized experience where every student and family feels supported and part of our NAOD community.

Studio Experience Coordinator at a glance:
⭐️Part-time | Approximately 23.75 hours per week
⭐️In-person in Fairburn, GA
⭐️Availability required Monday–Thursday evenings and Saturdays
⭐️Additional paid hours may be available for productions, registration, and studio events

You’ll be one of the first faces families see when they enter the studio! Beyond welcoming students and parents, you’ll help keep our front desk, family communications, billing follow-up, and daily administrative systems running smoothly.

Our ideal candidate is:
💙Warm, welcoming, and service-oriented
💙Highly organized and attentive to details
💙An excellent verbal and written communicator
💙Proactive, dependable, and comfortable following through independently
💙Able to balance family needs with administrative tasks in a busy studio
💙Experienced in customer service, hospitality, or office administration

Dance experience is appreciated but not required!

September is bringing new ways to dance, important Hope for Christmas deadlines, and more excitement for our 55th Dance Season! 💙

🎄 HOPE FOR CHRISTMAS DATES
Mark your calendars:
• Sept. 15: Holiday Production Fees Due
• Sept. 25: Final Holiday Production Fees + Late Fee Due
• Sept. 25: Concert Class Registration Deadline
• Nov. 9: Priority Ticket Sales Open for Current Families
• Nov. 16: General Ticket Sales Open

UPDATE: The new Wednesday Ages 4–7 Hip Hop class has been postponed. Please contact us for information about currently available Hip Hop classes.

Dancers will build confidence, musicality, and Hip Hop fundamentals in an upbeat, age-appropriate class. Enrollment for this class will remain open through October!

Our new five-week Adult Dance sessions begin September 28 and 29.
