🔥 Ladies Challenge Cup 2025 🔥
Jessie’s Girls (Pink) vs. David’s Diamonds (Green)It all began with bubbly and boldness—mimosas in hand, smack talk on standby, and two fierce teams ready to battle for glory. The draw was made, the lines were drawn, and the color war was ON: Pink vs Green, sparkle vs swagger.Tee times rolled from 12:00 to 12:40 p.m., and the final putt dropped around 5:40 p.m. But this wasn’t just golf—it was a showdown. The front nine featured a two-woman scramble full of strategy and sass, while the back nine brought out the solo warriors in match play singles.It was tight. Nail-biting, fist-pumping, scorecard-squinting tight. But in the end, Jessie’s Girls (Pink) snatched the win with flair, finesse, and just a touch of fabulous. 💅Victory was sweet, bragging rights were secured, and the countdown to the Spring rematch has officially begun. Until then, the Pink reign supreme.

🍂 Fall’s Finale, Golf Style! ⛳

Everyone loves fall—and rightfully so—but for us golfers at South Park Country Club, it’s also the bittersweet gateway to winter. Thursday marked our final Ladies League night for both leagues, and we wrapped it up in style: a fun-filled scramble followed by a delicious pasta dinner shared with an incredible group of women.
To sit among these ladies is an honor. To celebrate them? Even better.

Every Wednesday and Thursday, you’re there—collecting our $2.00, counting every last stroke, and making sure we have the best time possible… whether we finish the round or just finish the wine.
You are the calm in our storm, the keepers of shop credit, and the reason our league runs like a well-oiled (and occasionally squeaky) machine.
We couldn’t ask for a better group of guys.

Well… calling the weekend “hot” would be sugarcoating it. 🔥 Between the blazing temps and cart-path-only restrictions on Day 1, we were practically melting. Day 2 gave us a little relief—we could at least drive in the rough. 🎉 Couples Classic 2025: Officially in the Books! 🎉

What a weekend! With 292 players across 10 flights (including a Championship flight with 14-15 couples each!), and payouts to the top 4 in every flight, this year’s Couples Classic was nothing short of legendary.
☀️ Hot? That’s an understatement.But these fabulous ladies and gents showed up in style, braving the July heat for a three-day celebration that rocked not just Fairdale—but courses all across the city! We welcomed players from Woodhaven, Audubon, Iroquois, Bobby Nichols, GlenOaks, Bardstown, Midland, Nevel Meade, Valhalla, Oldham, and more. The energy was electric!
💪 Shoutout to the Dream Team:• Matt and the entire staff—you were outstanding, powering through long hours with grace and grit.• Chase and the maintenance crew—the course looked phenomenal and held up beautifully!• David, Jesse, Mike, and the pro shop crew—you were on top of every detail, staying late to ensure a smooth, joyful experience for all.
💚 Ron Thomas was with us in spirit, as we strolled and carted down the beloved Ron Thomas Lane. His legacy lives on in every laugh, swing, and shared moment.🙌 To our volunteers (you know who you are), members, and employees—thank you for pouring your hearts into this event year after year. You make the magic happen.
👕 Style points galore Gilmore! From matching outfits to bold statement looks, you brought the fashion and the fun. Special nod to Bill & Jan Powars and Claude & Linda Crick—the OGs who haven’t missed a Couples Classic since the invention of the wheel (okay, maybe not that long ago—but close!).

🎉 A Reverse Drawing Debut to Remember! 🎉This year marked our first-ever Reverse Drawing, and it was a hit—thanks to the one and only Mr. Ed Wilkie for leading the charge! The suspense, the laughs, the cheers… it was the perfect way to wrap up an unforgettable tournament weekend.👠 Big congrats to Ann-Micheal Dierson, who walked away with the grand prize! Did she share with Jeremy? 🤔 We’re not sure… but we are pretty confident her shoe collection just got a fabulous upgrade.
